Foil-wrapping

Ferag has adopted a completely new approach to sealing the foil. Two pairs of sealing bars are each mounted separately on a servomotor-driven shaft, and the rotary motion means that the drive energy is put to 100% productive use. Whereas with other systems each sealing cycle involves the braking and acceleration of heavy masses, the all-new PolyPacer sealing system is completely smooth and economical.
What’s more, separate mounts for the two pairs of sealing bars mean that it’s easy to adjust the distance between the front and rear bars to the length of the packet. So format changes are easy to make on the touch screen, even when production is up and running.
